The workshops which took place in March 2010 examine both alternative readings of the play and alternative staging and lighting from the August
The videos above present two different versions of the part of the play when both the Gentlewoman and The Laundress come to sue for (conflicting) weather. The first is performed 'straight' with modern lighting and the second is a comedic version also utilising imitation candlelight.
