Staging the Henrician Court : What difference having Henry VIII there?

If Jupiter is in the play the supreme lord of all (mirroring, had he been there King Henry VIII) then how would the other characters have addressed him as such if not directly as they did in this performance? As I've stated on the Audience page it appears (to my modern view?) to be a propaganda play. Whilst King Henry would no doubt have been given due respect, was it not more for the 'benefit' of the courtiers than him? If so would it have changed the performance so much. As an audience member I feel I would have benefited from at least a notional King Henry presence.
